Privacy Policy

Your privacy matters.

Your privacy is important to us both
and your time is important to you

For your convenience, a quick + easy-to-follow summary of our privacy policy is provided immediately below.

For complete detail, scroll down below the summary for the wordy, blah blah blah version of our Privacy Policy.

First, a summary of our Privacy Policy:

    • We will only ask you for personal information if we truly need it.
    • We don’t share your personal information with anyone except to comply with the law, develop our products, or protect our rights.
    • We don’t store personal information on our servers unless required for the on-going operation of one or more of our services.
    • No client or affiliate tax id information is intentionally stored on our computers by us. To further ensure this security, we only collect tax id information when fielded as a phone call from the client or affiliate.
    • We use a variety of outside contrators and partners in our service (e.g., survey hosting, payment processing, database storage, etc.).  One or more of these services may be accessed through external links. You are responsible for reading, understanding and agreeing to their respective privacy policies as they might not match with ours completely - though we like to think they are pretty close. If you do not agree with their policies, please advise us immediately. Perhaps we can find a work-around for you (we generally try to be flexible).
    • As with all summaries, you won't see everything and there may be exceptions.  Read below for the detail.  Recommended.

Below is our Privacy Policy in detail:

PRIVACY POLICY

HCF Enhancement, LLC ("HCF"), a limited liability company based in Tennessee and parent company to SimplyCount.com, operates several websites including SimplyCount.com, SimplyCount.net and HCFenhancement.com. It is HCF’s policy to respect your privacy regarding any information we may collect while operating its websites.

GENERAL INFORMATION ON WHAT WE COLLECT FROM OUR VISITORS

Like most website operators, HCF collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. HCF's purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how HCF's visitors use its website. From time to time, HCF may release non-personally-identifying information in the aggregate, e.g., by publishing a report on trends in the usage of its website.

HCF also collects potentially personally-identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses. HCF does not use such information to identify its visitors, however, and does not disclose such information, other than under the same circumstances that it uses and discloses personally-identifying information, as described below.

MORE SPECIFIC INFORMATION ON WHAT WE COLLECT ABOUT YOU

Certain visitors to HCF's websites choose to interact with HCF in ways that require HCF to gather personally-identifying information. The amount and type of information that HCF gathers depends on the nature of the interaction. For example, we ask visitors who use our survey forms to provide a username and email address. In each case, HCF collects such information only insofar as is necessary or appropriate to fulfill the purpose of the visitor's interaction with HCF. HCF does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below. And visitors can always refuse to supply personally-identifying information, with the caveat that it may prevent them from engaging in certain website-related activities.

STATISTICS WE COLLECT AND AGGREGATE

HCF may collect statistics about the behavior of visitors to its websites. For instance, HCF may reveal how many times a particular page was viewed, or say which questions and surveys were most popular. However, HCF does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below.

SHARING OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

HCF discloses potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information only to those of its employees, contractors, and affiliated individuals and organizations that (i) need to know that information in order to process it on HCF's behalf or to provide services at or through HCF's websites, and (ii) that have agreed not to disclose it to others. Some of those employees, contractors and affiliated organizations may be located outside of your home country; by using HCF's websites, you consent to the transfer of such information to them.

Users may be directed to affiliated services, or services that HCF contracts with, through external links. These links are clearly marked.  You are responsible for reading, understanding and agreeing to their respective privacy policies as they might not match with ours completely - though we like to think they are pretty close. If you do not agree with their policies, please advise us immediately. Perhaps we can find a work-around for you (we generally try to be flexible).

HCF will not rent or sell potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information to anyone. Other than to its employees, contractors, and affiliated individuals and organizations, as described above, HCF discloses potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information only when required to do so by law, or when HCF believes in good faith that disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect the property or rights of HCF, third parties, or the public at large. If you are a registered user of a HCF website and have supplied your email address, HCF may occasionally send you an email to tell you about new features, solicit your feedback, or just keep you up to date with what's going on with HCF and our products. If you send us a request (via email or via one of our other feedback mechanisms), we reserve the right to publish it in order to help us clarify or respond to your request or to help us support other users. HCF takes all measures reasonably necessary to protect against the unauthorized access, use, alteration, or destruction of potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information.

ABOUT COOKIES

A cookie is a string of information that a website stores on a visitor's computer, and that the visitor's browser provides to the website each time the visitor returns. HCF uses cookies to help HCF identify and track visitors, their usage of HCF website, and their website access preferences. HCF visitors who do not wish to have cookies placed on their computers should set their browsers to refuse cookies before using HCF's websites, with the drawback that certain features of HCF's websites may not function properly without the aid of cookies.
